Today we are proud to make the next Histo album Asleep in the Firehole available for pre-order. The album is set for release November 13th, 2020 and features guest performances by Joey Terry (Minorcan, The Poison Control Center) and Chris Moore.

Asleep in the Firehole is the first album recorded and produced at home by Donald in the primative Histo studio, built specifically to make sure that Histo would release a new album in 2020.

Donald spent the first six months of 2020 down in the studio nearly every night of the week until late into the night, pushing the limits of his abilities and the studio, until the album was done. Asleep in the Firehole is the result.

This album is the first opportunity for Histo to sit with songs and let them develop over months of creative experimentation. The lyrics and the sounds are honest.

For this release Histo is going digital but we still want to offer people something tangible. As part of the Pre-Order we are offering a limited-edition handmade pint glass etched with album art and title that comes with the high-quality digital download.

Along with this announcement we’re releasing the Histo Mayo recipe with a Asleep in the Fireaioli variation developed in time with the album. It is the perfect condiment to compliment a delicious sandwich. A new Histo album and an amazing Mayo recipe means life will never be the same.
